Robin Newman Non-executive director, HFL Education Start date April Concurrent role Principal at Haileybury Turnford, Cheshunt Interesting fact Robin ran the London Marathon in 2026. He completed the course in a similar time to his previous London Marathon, despite being 23 years older. Robin is also a silver winner of the Pearson headteacher of the year award 2023. He sees live music regularly - an eclectic mix, from soul, funk, afrobeat and tropicalia to folk and blues. He also sings in a local choir. He was on the BBC's 'Songs of Praise' in the 1980s.
