Beleaguered academy trust bosses could face 鈥測et more bureaucracy鈥 and the prospect of being handcuffed to long-term contracts through Labour鈥檚 flagship energy scheme, union chiefs fear. Government officials will write into academy rules that trusts should join the 鈥 which they say could save schools tens of thousands of pounds 鈥 or provide a 鈥済ood reason鈥 for opting out.
